Hoofer Ambassadors Spring Break Gear Swap

Drop Off on March 6th, 4-9pm in the Chart Room; Gear Swap on March 7th, 9-4 pm in the Boat House. No clothing will be priced over $50!

Join Hoofer Ambassadors for the pre-Spring Break Gear Swap! The sustainable option to buy and sell gently used outdoor gear and clothing. Equipment is supplied by YOU! This means that you can bring your own gently used gear, and we will sell it for you. Make the upcoming months active and full of fun with new or new-to-you equipment!

We will accept most used clothing or equipment. However, we reserve the right to not accept any gear we deem unsafe or in too poor of a condition to sell. If its failure could potentially cause injury to someone using it, chances are we will not sell it.

If you are looking to sell gear, gear drop off will be on Friday, March 6th from 4-9 at Memorial Union in the Chart Room. We will have people there to help price gear to sell. The swap will be open on Saturday, March 7th from 9-4 in the Hoofer Boathouse (or while gear lasts). Both rooms are on the bottom floor of MU and the boathouse can be found by going to the Outdoor UW desk.

Our goal is to provide a sustainable, affordable option to acquire gear for Hoofers and community members. If you are interested in volunteering, please email ambassadors@hoofers.org. This event is open to UW-Madison students, faculty, staff, Wisconsin Union members and their guests.
