Event Information

Description

Weather conditions should be good for some cross country skiing this next Saturday. With upcoming snow this week we should have some good trail conditions. And the current forecast is for about 20 degrees and sunny on Saturday the 16th. Hoping that all holds true. So I am planning a beginner friendly cross country ski trip to nearby Gov. Nelson State Park on the northwest side of Lake Mendota. Bring your own skis or use club gear. We will meet at the Mendota lounge, where we have our club meeting at 11 am. Load up some gear and get to the trail by noon. Ski for 2 to 3 hours at most and return mid-afternoon. If anyone else can also drive we will open the trip to more people. I can drive and carry skis and 2 other people. Please let me know if you can drive. Thanks, Robert text 6082749811
