We are trying to finalize the group by the end of this weekend (5/7)

The Boundary Waters Canoe Area (BWCA) is a vast wilderness unlike any other in the world, featuring extensive systems of interconnected lakes, streams, and portages which can be strung together into thousands, if not billions, of different routes, and we've picked the very best one for this 8 day adventure spanning two entry points, 20 gorgeous lakes, 4 spectacular rivers, plus 3 bonus streams; 34 miles of paddling, all tied together by 7 short miles of portages.

Where:

Western Region of the Boundary Waters Canoe Area; entry points 14 and 16 (northwest of Ely, MN)

When:

Saturday, May 13th, 2017 -- Sunday, May 21st, 2017 (9 days, 8 nights total)

We strongly recommend participants be UW fleet certified! (instructions here: http://www.hooferleaders.org/fleet-vehicle-training-usage. You can also get certified in the Outdoor UW office).

Cost:

$250.00 - This covers permits, fleet vehicles, and food.

Vehicles:

Costs could be potentially lowered by use of personal vehicles, so if you would like to go on this trip, and have a personal vehicle you would like to use to transport participants, shoot me an email.

Ratings:

A canoe lake lesson and a swim test will also be required, but no other water-related certifications will be necessary, as the water in the BWCA doesn’t really move.
