HELLLOOOOOOOOOO HOOFERS!!!!!!
I am very excited to announce one of the many super fun upcoming spring break trips... SEA KAYAKING IN FLORIDA :)
This trip will head to Tampa Bay near St. Petersburg, FL for a four-day ACA coastal kayaking L2 training and instruction. Increase your skills and leadership in sea kayaking in a beautiful location, with additional time to explore the sights, historical locations, and any cool places we find nearby.
Depending on the interest in the trip, priority will be given to those interested in LITing the trip.
Cost does depend on how many people sign up, so sign-up will require a down payment of $300. This price is subject to change with participant number and once/if funding is awarded. In this case, money will be refunded as needed.
Rough itinerary:
- Leave for Tennesse campsite on Friday, March 21st
- Arrive at Fort De Soto campsite on Saturday, March 22nd
- 4-day kayak instruction on March 23rd through March 26th
- Explore and have fun on March 27th and 28th
- Drive to final campsite in Tennesse on March 29th
- Arrive at UW-Madison on March 30th and unload trailer/equipment
