Event Information

Description

We had so much fun yesterday, we're doing it again!

Please note that this is not exclusively a canoe lake lesson, anyone can attend. However, if you do not have your canoe orientation already please arrive by 6:30 pm so we can get that done, if you already have that completed you can come at 6:50 pm. Please do not be late as we will be getting in the water right at 7 pm. We plan to paddle east towards James Madison Park and we will be off the water by 8:30 pm.

If you are participating in the orientation, please watch the following videos before attending:

Canoe Basics and Paddles | Parts of the Canoe

The Top 3 Basic Canoeing Strokes | Canoeing for Beginners

Fast and Simple Rescue Technique for Capsized Canoe (you hopefully will not have to do this today, water is too cold)
