Event Information

Description

This clinic will provide an introduction to self-rescue. Here, you will build a foundation of problem-solving skills specific to the high-risk terrain we navigate as climbers. Topics include belay transfers, rope ascension, emergency rappels, managing incapacitated climbers, etc. You'll want a solid foundation in outdoor climbing. Sport and Anchors I are required ratings, however Anchors II is  highly recommended. We will begin our clinic at the CCC parking lot at 8 am and finish around 4 pm. You can expect to be back in Madison around 5:00 pm.
