Annual trip to Mount Bohemia for their Mardi Gras celebration. This trip includes a bus to and from Mount Bohemia, leaving from Memorial Union at 3PM on Friday and returning on Sunday. There is a full day of skiing on Saturday, and participants can choose to ski a half day on Sunday before we leave. We stay in trailside yurts right at the base of the front run of the resort, just feet from the spa and hot tub.
Mount Bohemia prides itself in being an all-natural resort. Their motto is "no beginners allowed" and there are no groomed trails! This is the perfect trip for advanced skiers who want to rip moguls to their heart's content. There are wide open runs and there are tree runs, all littered with bumps.
Mardi Gras at Mount Bohemia is a Hoofers tradition and you won't want to miss it! Oh, and girls ski for free!!!
