Description

Leader training trip to learn ice climning technique and skills.  Anchor 1 recommended but not required.

Please come prepared for a long day out in the cold.  Bring lots of warm layers, and if possible waterproof outer layers with a warm puffy while belaying and hanging out.  Usually two sets of warm waterproof gloves with good dexterity are nice to have.

Bring food and water for the day as well. 

We will be using club equipment, but feel free to bring your own ice gear including a helmet, harness and belay device.

Driving or Travel Details
We will meet at the Park St. circle outside Memorial Union around 7:45 am and depart around 8:00 am. It's about an hour drive to GDSP. We will pack up and head back around 4:00pm with the hopes of returning to MU around 5:00pm.
