Cross-Country Skiing on Lake Mendota

Join the Hoofer's Nordic Ski Team in cross-country skiing on Lake Mendota! Whether you're a first time skiier or have 49 Birkies under your belt, Lake Mendota provides a great skiing experience. Group lessons will be available for first timers and those looking to get a better handle on the sport. Join us for a day of fun, laughter, and learning as you discover or foster your passion for cross-country skiing.

Ski and boot rentals will be provided free of charge courtesy of Outdoor UW, and are available first to those registered for the event. Once those who are registered for the event (and present when the event begins) have their skis and boots, rentals will be available to those not registered on a first-come, first-served basis.
