Have you ever been on a trip where tension has existed between leaders or participants? Have you struggled to know what to do in these situations to address and move past this friction? This course will talk about what we can do as Hoofer leaders or outdoor recreation organization leaders to address and move past tense situations with simple tools to facilitate conflict resolution in a wilderness environment.
Upon completion of this class, participants will:
- Learn steps to actively listen to others
- Be introduced a model for successful conflict resolution
- Role play hypothetical situations to practice

- If there is not adequate enrollment 48 hours prior to this course, it may be canceled. If the course is canceled by Outdoor UW, enrolled participants will receive an email notification and full refunds will be issued. Refunds will not be issued if participants cancel within 24 hours of the event.
