Intro to Setting and Cleaning Sport Anchors

Come meet at the Sett Climbing Wall at Union South for an "on the gound" introduction to setting a TR anchor on bolts and how to safely clean sport and TR anchors from bolts. Even if you are not interested is sport climbing yet, these skills will make you a valuable climbing buddy to sport climbers who are willing to set TR anchors for you!
The instruction for this clinic is Free, however a membership (Day, semester, or year) to the Sett Climbing wall is required.
Particapants will need to bring: Harness, personal anchor (PAS), climbing shoes are optional.
HMC will have ropes, draws and extra locking carabiners.
**Instruction will start promptly at 6pm please arrive 15+min early to check in and get your wall pass/shoes**
This is an intoductory clinic, attending this clinic will not earn you a sport rating, but will teach some of the skills needed to pass at a later time. A Tope Rope rating is required as we will not have enough time to teach this skill in addition to the anchors.
