Crack School

Do you want to want to learn to crack climb? Do you have a high pain tolerance? Are you willing to fail repeatedly for hours at a time? If so, this is the class for you! This crack climbing clinic at The Sett in Union South will cover basic crack techniques such as hand jams, foot jams, and tape gloves. To attend, you must be a member at The Sett (Hoofers get a discount) or purchase a day pass. Rental gear is available, but I would highly recommend bringing your own comfortable, flat shoes; a harness; and athletic or climbing tape to make gloves. If you don't bring tape, expect to bleed. No ratings are required for this event, but having the top rope tag at The Sett will make the process smoother.
