This event was cancelled on Wed 3/10/2021, by David Elsmo for the following reason: Dear Ice Fishing Derby Participant, I am writing you again with some unfortunate news. The unseasonably warm weather has taken place of the painfully cold weather and rendered the ice unsafe. The layers of snow melted incredibly quick which created large barely visible holes everywhere. The sun and runoff has also caused the shoreline to melt away leaving access to the ice perilous. As such, It has been determined that group activities on the ice should be cancelled for the rest of the season. We are working with the Educators to schedule some summer fishing experiences and will work to provide multiple ice fishing opportunities in 2022
