Bundle up and join us on a trip to Door County for what is (probably) the last backpacking of the season. We'll spend our first night at the Zwick cabin in Sturgeon Bay. There, we'll enjoy some good cooking and explore the shoreline of Lake Michigan. The truly bold can even take a plunge in the lake after warming up in the sauna. The next day, we'll head north and do a day hike in Peninsula State Park. From there, it's onward to Newport State Park, where we'll do a short (~2 mile) hike out to our campsite. Newport is recognized as an International Dark Sky Park, so let's hope for clear conditions and some next-level stargazing. The next morning, we'll get on the trail early enough for breakfast at the iconic Al Johnson's Swedish Restaurant in Sister Bay.

Trip deposit is $50. Priority will be given to those with personal vehicles so we can keep the trip costs down.
