Description
Midwest Adaptive Climbing has offered us some spots in an adaptive climbing clinic at Adventure Rock Milwaukee! We'll be learning the ins and outs of setting up rope and gear systems for climbers of different abilities. Specific topics covered include:
- Rigging
- Adaptive harnesses
- Side climbing
- Ark chairs
- "A lot more" - Midwest Adaptive Climbing
Be prepared to fill out a waiver. You will need your toprope and general lead rating to ensure you are well-versed in both toprope and lead belaying. These ratings can be tested out of by contacting any member of the executive board.
Transportation
The club will be providing transportation for this event. We'll be leaving from Memorial Union at 3:30 PM to ensure we get there by 5:00 PM in a fleet van.
Cost
This trip is free! Adventure Rock will be covering the cost of our participation :-)
