Event Information

Description

Discussion by UW Civil and Env Eng Prof Trina McMahon on blue-green algae blooms and their effects on Madison Lakes, at Eagle Hts Community Ctr, 611 Eagle Heights Dr.  If driving, may have to park at UW Lot 131 and hike in. Toxic algal blooms adversely affect Hoofer Lake Mendota activities, so talk may be of great interest to HOC boaters. This event set up by the Friends of the UW Nature Preserve.
