Description

Sunday  1:00 PM - 4:00PM Sea Kayak, SK0 & SK1 Combo Lesson - September 23, 2018

(If another sea kayaker, leader, or instructor wish to team up or assist me, please email me. We could then open up to more participants.)

Please only sign up if you are certain you will show up. Otherwise, please leave room for others. Thank you.

Please meet at the triangular pier promptly at 1:00 PM. We will review the plan for the day. Please arrive promptly wearing a swimsuit, warm-when-wet clothing (no cotton - wool or synthetic long sleeve top for cool temperatues, 70s - 60s °F),  sun hat or cap (optional) and water shoes that will stay on your feet when swimming. There may be an opportunity for the standard swim test after the lesson at the Triangular Pier.

***Please bring sunscreen, a warm change of clothes and a towel, snacks you can carry in the boat (please also eat well before arriving), and 1 liter or more of water to drink.

If the air temperature is cool (70s - 60s °F), would recommend bringing along wool or synthetic layers to wear under a paddling jacket and wet suit.  The club has paddling jackets & a few wet suits available in the canoe/kayak equipment cage.
