Event Information

Description

Beginner kayaking trip.  Will leave Friday evening, have dinner at a restaurant on the drive up, drive 3-4 hours to northern Wisconsin, camp for 2 nights at Hooferland, spend our days paddling the beautiful rivers of northeastern Wisconsin and return Sunday evening stopping at a restaurant for dinner on the drive back.

Currently there are no intermediate kayaks to help with support & rescue so this weekend trip will be canceled.

Look for new event to be posted soon for separate Moving Water R1 trips on Friday Sept 21st and Saturday Sept 22nd.  Working on trying to organize a possible river trip on Sunday Sept 23nd.

If new club members have previous whitewater kayaking experience, please contact me to discuss fast tracking you up the skill ratings.

Requirements: Will need a lake lesson, passed a swim test and have a R1 or above paddlers rating.  Requirements may be increased depending on whether kayakers with intermediate paddler ratings sign-up.
