Prerequisite: A desire to begin learning the most fun thing you'll ever do in your life and Ground School.

Earned from class: Basic windsurfing theoretical knowledge/ Proper Safety and Stewardship Measures. 

This is where we set the rules of the game. A general introduction to windsurfing consisting of a two hour class. Students will not go in the water in the Intro to Windsurfing class and sailing experience is not necessary. Topics covered include safety, stewardship, wind theory, board terminology and lake-lab organization. In this class, students learn all they need in terms of safety, wind theory, and properly taking care of the equipment (what we call stewardship). 

We will cover this document in class (all students must read at least once the Windsurfing Equipment User Guide before, or after, the class)
