Wisconsin Basecamp Canoeing Aug 18-22

Spend four days paddling and exploring the Scenic Wisconsin River between Sauk City and Boscobel. We will be camping on the rivers’ edge, cooking and having fun, learning about UW and campus life around the campfire at night. Upon completion of the ~60 mile paddle, you will be rewarded with an overnight trip to Devils Lake State Park. Groups enjoy swimming, hiking, and exploring the park for their last day together. Canoeing trips start and end at Outdoor UW in the Memorial Union. Canoeing starts at 8:15 am the first day and end at 4 pm the last day. (Note: SOAR normally ends at 12pm, so please do not schedule SOAR to end on the first day of your Basecamp trip!) Group gear, canoe equipment, and food are provided.
