Jackson Freestyle Clinic - Whitewater playboating instruction

2017 Jackson Freestyle Clinic, August 17 & 18 at Wausau Whitewater course

This is a 2 day Freestyle Clinic on August 17th & August 18th on the Wausau Whitewater course.  Learn freestyle playboating techniques taught by experienced "Jackson Kayak" instructors.  Participants are separated into 2 groups according to skill level - beginners and intermediate/advance.  The first group will start at 8 AM & the second group starts at 1 PM.  Your registration “includes t-shirt, lunches on Thursday and Friday, 4 days of paddling, entry into the Midwest Freestyle Championships (8/19 & 8/20), entry to win a drawing for a new Jackson Kayak and thousands of $$$ of other prizes.”  Will decide later if we stay the entire weekend.  Come join us and add new freestyle tricks to your playboating skill set.

When & Where:  August 17 & 18 at Wausau Whitewater course in Wausau Wisconsin

Rating: R3p whitewater rating and a solid roll. 

Registration required:  In addition for signing up for this trip with HOC, participants must register on the Wausau Whitewater under Jackson Freestyle Clinic link. These classes fill up fast, so it is best to register early.  Clinic will only accept 30 participants. 

Registration Cost: $145 before 6/1/17 & $165.00 after 6/1/17.  ACA membership is required - can purchase $5.00/day event fee membership or annual membership. 

Registration deadlines:  Since clinic size is limited to 30 people, so I would like to register before the June 1st price increase or before the class size limit is reached. 

Trying to assess interest: If interested or curious, please contact me.  Intend to view Freestyle DVDs & practice Freestyle techniques before clinic is held.

Other costs: food, gas, camping and boat fee costs are to be determined.

Food & accommodations: TBD - will either camp onsite or at Hoofer land & will need to discuss making arrangements for meals.

Group size: limited by number of available drivers who can carry kayaks.  Will increase group size, if more drivers are available.
